Septic TanksWe manufacture septic tanks for sewage cleaning purposes. Our septic tank is a combined sedimentation cum digestion tank to treat the household sewage. The lighter solids including grease and fat rise to the surface to form “scum” and the heavier solids settle down in the tank to form “sludge” which is gradually decomposed by bacteria. The liquid waste or effluent goes into the drain field and undergoes oxidation. The baffle helps to lessen the disturbance of the settled sludge and keep the solids and scum in the tank. Our range of septic tank includes RCC septic tanks, reinforced septic tanks and concrete septic tanks.

These RCC Septic Tanks
are manufactured from reinforced cement concrete by spinning it which results in a dense impervious concrete with smooth surfaces. RCC septic tanks make flushing of latrines possible. Soil pipe from the latrine which have flushing arrangement is connected to the septic tank. It is preferable to lay the soil pipe after fixing the septic tank but its alignment and level should be determined. The working of the concrete septic tanks depends on the chemical changes which the sludge flushed into the tank from the latrine undergoes due to action of bacteria on it. The sludge is broken into simpler chemical compounds. The gases produce escape into the atmosphere while the fluid which passes out (called the effluent) is quite harmless and can be used in the garden or for growing vegetables, or it may be run out as waste. Method of Installation:
A Suitable site is first selected behind the latrine. It should have a grade of about 1 in 40 and lie about a foot below the ground level. A pit measuring about one foot more in the direction of alignment and two ft. more in the crosswise direction than the diameter of tank should be excavated. The depth and centre line of the pit should be such that the inlet of the tank should be in line with proposed alignment of soil pipe. The bed of the tank should be of murum. If rock or soft soil is met with excavate further and fill up. Place tank on the bed with manholes on top and see that it is level. Then lay the soil pipe from W.C., place the manhole covers and ventilating pipe in position using cement mortar and till the pit to ground level. Fill the tank with clear water bringing it into use.Features:
- Require no special care
- Cleaning is required once in three years
- Care should be taken to avoid using antiseptic liquids (like phenol etc.) in the cleaning of Septic tanks, as they are harmful to bacteria and retard the chemical action taking place in the tank.
